WORLD CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) places strict controls on protection and management of any personal information, which the Company handles to conduct its businesses and provide its services, based on the Company’s Privacy Policy.

  1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
    The Company will collect any personal information through a lawful and fair manner, but not in an unlawful manner. In addition, the Company will obtain a prior consent on the Company’s purposes of using personal information from the subject person. An announcement of the Company’s purposes of using personal information will also be made.
  2. Proper Management of Personal Information
    The Company shall take information security countermeasures against unauthorized access and computer viruses to prevent any and all personal information from being lost, damaged, altered or leaked, and ensure preventive and corrective actions on any risks related to personal information.
  3. Compliance with Laws, Regulations and Other Rules
    In regard to the handling of personal information, the Company shall observe laws, regulations and other rules including the Personal Information Protection Law and act in compliance with the Company’s internal rules.
  4. Consignment of Personal Information
    When consigning personal information to any of its contractors, the Company shall require the contractor to ensure the protection of personal information and control the contractor to handle personal information in a proper manner.
  5. Disclosure, Correction and Deletion of Personal Information
    When any customer should request the Company to disclose, correct or delete its own personal information owned by the Company, such customer is kindly requested to address its request to Customer Service Dept. of the Company.
  6. Maintenance and Management of Personal Information
    To ensure a proper handling of personal information is being conducted, the Company shall educate any and all employees of the Company and its relevant companies about the protection of personal information and check if a proper handling is being conducted. In addition, the Company shall practice and maintain the protection of personal information by informing such employees about its approach, and work on the continuous improvement.
